my own hands, it's just that easy...

my door gasket has been torn and worn for awhile. I discovered Parts Dr and they indeed have the best OEM prices!! Buy with confidence as they are 100% available at all points of sale. The gasket arrived, now, the FIRST thing you want to do after it arrives and you peek in the box, is LET IT COME TO ROOM TEMP! After this lay it on flat surface and shape it. Mine laid out for 12 hours and it was fine, HOWEVER you may have to help shape the gasket via some type of heat source. The blow dryer works well for this. Next is easy peasy. Just simply open the door, start at a corner, and pull the old gasket off. CLEAN the area, now take your new gasket and again STARTING at corner, push it into groove. You have to apply a bit of pressure but it will snap in place. Next shut door, and POOF you are done. I am a 60 year old woman who completed this repair in under 10 minutes. Hope that helps! Tear in my rubber gasket.

Screwdriver and hair blower

Remove then replace. Heat with hair blower to remove the crease.

Door gasket was worn and had mold on it. Pulled off the old one and put on the new one. Easy peasy!!
