Bad valve...despite brand new from the factory. It wouldn't adjust to low...flames just got bigger.

Open end wrench. Sockets, flat-head screw driver.
Repair & Advice
Take your time. Learn. Acquire new skills in the process & avoid paying a service guy. It took 2.5 hours the first time because I took things slow. Should another one fail, the job should take about 45 minutes to do.
