Dishwasher control panel not funtioning

Removed old control panel and replaced it with the new one. The only part that was a little tricky was getting the new panel attached to the door and getting everything put back together. Very happy with Parts Dr. The part arrived at our house less than 24 hours after ordering it online!

The correct cycle wouldn't light up and then the dishwasher wouldn't start up at all.

T15 Torx bit, ratchet.

Simple fix. Removed the screws on the inside of the door, about 10-15 of them. The outer metal skin comes off. There is one more screw under the front panel to remove the control. Then one wire harness to unplug. I put a bead of silicone on the plastic rib where the ribbon cable contacts to give the new control wire some cushion and prevent rubbing. This was the obvious place the old one had failed. Parts from Parts DR were exact fit and same as I removed. Time was about 10-15 minutes the first time to get it apart and find the problem, about 10 minutes to install the new part.

Repair was pretty easy, took about 15 minutes. A little extra care in reconnecting the terminal plug and refastening the screws.
