Repair & Advice
Unit would not wash. It would drain but not enter the wash cycle. I removed the unit. Removed the racks. There are three locking tabs underneath. You do not have to remove the filter basin from the tub, however the motor and filter assembly is usually cheaper than just the motor so I replaced them at the same time. The hoses, cabling and side support will have to be to be removed. It is not as bad as it seems. The factory mistake proofed it so you cannot install it backwards. Remove the washer blade from the inside. Tilt the unit on its back and remove the three sliding locking tabs. Twist the unit until the lock ring is free. Push on the motor assembly until the filter basin separates from the tub. Clean this area thoroughly. This is where the tub seals back against the new seal on the new assembly. Once you get the new assembly oriented to be installed. Work the slotted section into the tab and work the unit until it gets even around the seal. Then pull on the motor assembly until the seal seats evenly around the basin. Install the three locking tabs. Reinstall the fasteners and revers the procedure. It is a little difficult but take your time to get the seal correct or you will turn the unit on and have a floor full of water. My unit cleans like it used to now. Here is a tip. Replace the heating element while you are under here. It is simple once you have the unit to this point.

Repair & Advice
Dishwasher wasn't cleaning. Replaced chopper, but would be fully clogged a week or two later. Most online sites just blamed the chopper and suggested replacement, or blamed the user and suggested scrapping dishes better or different detergent. Which is dumb advice, it cleaned fine before, it should again. The real answer is that the pinion gear at the end of the circulation motor was worn out and not engaging the chopper. I purchased the circulation motor in the unit that includes the entire lower housing. The motor by itself is $20 more! Why do you sell it? Others do, too, but it's a complete ripoff. Might as well get a new chopper, new motor, and everything else new at a lower price. Replacement was pretty straightforward from the online videos. The seal was the most difficult part. It's a tight fit, which is good, but takes some effort to seat. I used the handle of a screwdriver to seat it fully a small spot at a time.

Repair & Advice
Simple fix, seems a waste of resources to trash an all stainless steel dishwasher due to a pump failure. The pump assembly is less expensive than the pump alone.
