Noisy and not properly agitating.

Small flat blade screw driver.

Took pictures of old parts for reference. I installed this part onto a new gear case assembly. I did it sitting down with the gear case on my lap with the slider facing up. The only difficulty was the lock ring. Do not try to press it on. Instead separate the thin metal spiral with a small flat blade screw driver and screw the lock ring onto the gear case shaft by hand.

Bought slider kit just because I thought it would be a good idea to replace it too while I was replacing the gearbox.

Just a good idea to replace the slider because I didn’t have to take the old one off and reinstall it on the new gearbox. Time saved was worth it.
