Wasn’t drying dishes

Repair & Advice
Wasnt drying dishes. I had a repair man come from a Maytag svc co. All he did was turn on the dishwasher and say get a new dishwasher. You need a new heating element and I asked how much it was and he said it’s going to be over $300. So I went on Google and found your website and the part was $35. Then I went on YouTube and I watched the video how to fix it and I ordered the part. My son and I took the dishwasher out took it all apart just like the video showed and 45 minutes Later it was fixed! Not bad for a 61-year-old single mom and a 19-year-old kid. I couldn’t afford a repair man or a new dishwasher I wasted $98 on a service call for nothing. Thank you very much.

Melted utensil around heater coil/replace heater coil
Tools
Adjustable wrench/screwdriver
Repair & Advice
Turn off power at breaker, remove lower access panel, remove cover from power junction box, remove wire nuts and separate wires, remove ground wire. Turn off water supply, remove water supply line. Slide dryer out of under cabinet so rear can be accessed. Remove electrical connectors from ends of heater coil. Use adjustable wrench to remove plastic nuts from ends of heater coil. When nuts are removed the heater coil should be ready to remove. Reverse dis-assembly for installing new heater coil.
