My freezer door Gasket was bad and frost was accumulating in my freezer and getting worse.

Hair dryer and chop stick

This was a very easy fix. Make sure you lay your gasket out flat for a day on more. Use a hair drying to get the kinks and smashed areas back in shape. I used a chop stick to help smooth and hold in place some areas as I used the hair dryer. Worked perfect. Popped the old gasket off and put the new one on in just minutes. I am a woman in my 70's. So happy to fix it myself and not pay someone! Parts Dr has great prices and you get the real part you need.

The gasket was damaged, and warm air entered the freezer.

The only tool needed was a screwdriver, to remove the freezer door.

The gasket was very simple to replace.

Freezer door wouldn't seal.

Took out the old gasket and put in the new. Very simple and solved the problem! We saved a lot of money by ordering through Parts Dr instead of through the manufacturer.
