Main burner stayed on high even when the knob was set at low.

I realized the burner on my glass top stove was on high even when I turned the heat on low causing everything to burn. So I googled what the problem could be. I also watched a YouTube video on this issue. Once I knew how to take the stove apart I located the bad infinite switch and snapped a picture to confirm the part number. I then googled the part number and came across this site. This site offers the infinite switch for about $30 less than anyone else. I like to cook so I paid extra for expedite shipping. I’m a handy woman so once the part was in, I replaced the piece within 10 mins. It was so easy to replace. My stove works perfect again.

Perfect fit. Just removed the back cover from the stove, remove the cables and replace the old part with the new one. Always remember the disconnect the appliances from main power.

Dual surface stove top burner would often not cycle on/off as normal but rather go to 100% and burn food/cookware.

Just needed a Phillips head screwdriver

Go to web and search your issue...many very clear and helpful videos. The "repair" amounted to 40 minutes of unscrewing 9 screws to remove backing of stove control panel access and 2 screws to remove the faulty stove top control. Part was exact replacement from manufacturer so it was literally an unplug old and plug in new then screw everything back together. Of course you need to test controls to verify everything is as it should be. Final note...of the 40 minutes 20 were used to clean the normally hidden sides of the stove!!!
