I am relatively mechanically minded. However, after watching the YouTube video, this was a very simple repair that fixed my problem. My old stator was cracked.

Problem
Noticed the stator was cracked when I was removing the bearing and shaft.
Tools
Normal hand tools.
Repair & Advice
I don't think the cracked stator was causing any issues yet but while I had the machine apart for the bearing and shaft I decided to replace the stator too. It arrived in a timely manor as with all the other parts I ordered from partsdr. And was the exact match for my washer.

Problem
I was getting an F53 error code on my cabrio. Once I had it apart I needed a new drive shaft and bearings. I also noticed the stator was cracked in 4 places.
Tools
Hammer, sockets, and channel locks.
Repair & Advice
Being a woman with no knowledge of machines some would say I couldn't do this repair. With a little common sense and a few tools I repaired it quickly and quite easily. The parts came the next day after ordering and the washer was back together in very little time. Yes, it was work. But nothing too difficult. Considering replacing this machine was over 800 and the parts only cost 300, it was a no brainer. Im going to rate this as a difficult job because it did take some brute strength. But If this 5 ft girly girl could do such an extensive repair with no help from anyone and no problems, then you can too!
