Glass cooktop broke due to hotspot from burnt pot

To replace the cooktop all i had to do was remove the drawer below the cooktop. Unscrew the holding plates on each side underneath. Pull the cooktop above the counter. Remove all the screws holding the cooktop to the bottom. Then replace the top, screw the screws back in and then lower and attach the mounts underneath. There was enough wires to pull it up without disconnecting anything but good idea to pull the curcuit breaker. Wear gloves because of the glass. Whole project took maybe 30 minutes.
