Problem
One tine weld became loose and started rusting severely. After removing the Dishrack and turning it over for inspection, several additional rusting welds became visible. It was time to replace the Upper Dishrack. The dishwasher was in regular daily use for at least 15 years prior to this repair.
Tools
Only common hand tools were required to exchange this part.
Repair & Advice
Since the Rollers and accessory hardware had to be exchanged between the old and the new rack assemblies and in the absence of a repair manual, I recommend to take a fewclose-up shots with your iPhone camera or such. Be extra careful when depressing the plastic latches used to hold most plastic components in place when disassembling the original rack.
