No problem. You have to buy a single dose detergent cup separately as the washer only comes with a device that stores large amounts of detergent and doles it out automatically.

No repair story. You just place it into the machine. However, this part may be one of the worlds great ripoffs. I don't blame the retailer for this. I blame whirlpool. It is a small plastic cup. It should be $10 max. It is expensive everywhere and this retailer had the lowest price and fast shipping.
