Had to remove the tub to replace the transmission.

Hammer and screwdriver to apply leverage.

Saw on youtube that this part may break during disassembly so I bought it just in case. Mine did break and I was glad to have the replacement on hand. Saved me time!

Really loud noise on the spin cycle, like a Jet engine...lol

Chisels,2-1/2 lb. Baby sledge hammer and 22mm deep socket to put over the shaft to tap it out, aside from a socket set and spanner wrench

After removing the spanner nut, had to chisel off the Blocker nut and the hub... This job was difficult, if, you don't have the right tools..... Easy Peasy, not very difficult, if you do...

Whirlpool Cabrio making loud bearing noise on spin cycle. Figured bearings needed to be replaced.

Nut driver, screwdriver, sockets, ratchet ,extensions, hammer.

Loud bearing noise on spin cycle. Went to YouTube to see how to repair. Needed gearbox with bearings because bearings not replaceable by themselves (sealed gearbox) ordered parts from one company but then looked at PartsDr website & found the same parts $100.00 cheaper. Parts delivered in 2 days and then installed. Parts came with instructions on recalibration of washer computer. Noise gone & recalibration procedure shortened washing time.
