The microwave handle broke.

Philips head screwdriver and a putty knife for prying.

Whirlpool Accuwave System Model GH5184XPS1; open the door and remove the 2 screws next to the door handle; use the putty putty knife to gently pry away the front door panel along all sides; remove the front cover once loose; set it on a flat surface and locate the 2 door handle screws by partially peeling away the insulation foam; remove the 2 door handle screws and install the new door handle; reinstall the front door panel.

Popped the door off, the window out, unscrewed the broken handle and screwed in the new one.

Door handle on microwave was broken when we moved into the house.

Not sure.

I had an appliance repairman install the new handle.
