Repair & Advice
Since the stove vented from the bottom, we couldn’t pull it out to get to the stovetop fasteners. Had to figure a way to raise and tilt it in place. After we figured that out, removing and replacing the top was very easy. The front 2 inches of the glass top is entirely unsupported, so it is very susceptible to breaking. Wish it had a better design since a replacement top isn’t cheap.

Tools
Socket wrench, screw driver.
Repair & Advice
I watched an online video for a model very much like our in-island stove with downdraft. It was very easy to follow and other than being anxious to avoid breaking the new glass top the repair was pretty straightforward.

Repair & Advice
While performing a kitchen renovation for a client, one of our guys accidently cracked the glass on the stove top. We ordered a replacement, that arrived broken as well, but another unit was sent out promptly and installed for our customer without further issue.
