Jennair glass cooktop cracked.
Tools
Phillips and flathead screwdriver, quarter inch nut driver.
Repair & Advice
Replaced glass on a 36-in cooktop, removed cooktop from granite counter and set on top. Removed approximately 12 quarter inch hex head screws to remove glass from cooktop base. Was surprised to find all five burner elements attached to glass top I thought they would stay in the base. Wife held up glass top while I removed the burners from the glass top and sat on base with wires attached .reverse process to install the new glass, was not that hard but requires two people.
