Problem
The old disposer wouldn't stop running once turned on, turned out it was the starter switch which I found out is no longer available anywhere for replacement due to the disposer being so old.
Tools
Channel locks, flathead and Phillips head screwdrivers putty knife. You'll also need plumbers putty for the drain flange that's seated in the top of the sink.
Repair & Advice
The new disposer went in without a hitch the instructions were easy to follow which had all the tools listed for the installation.
