I asked safari what could the problem be if the cold water got slower and slower and eventually stopped running. It stated it could be the water inlet valve. I took the old one off and it was clogged. When the new one came in I installed it and the cold water works. The washing machine run like new.

Problem
The hot water inlet valve was not allowing hot water to enter the washing machine.

Repair & Advice
I would recommend if you are changing the water inlet valve that you also changed your water hoses too! I would suggest the braided steel versions, so that it has a lesser chance of bursting.
