Broken trim plate.

Long phillips driver - 8 inch long.

1. Remove sliding vent assembly including spring returns. 2. Remove filters (2 screws each) 3. Remove 3 screws in trim piece 4. Insert new trim piece 5. Reverse steps 1-3

Front Base Plate Trim had broken off and needed replacement

Just Philips screwdriver and cleaning supplies

My microwave is a dark grey/metallic color. The part received was a lighter grey but not too far off and doesn't look bad. It was a genuine LG part and fit perfectly. Part of the lower front of the microwave had to come completely off, which was not hard, but putting it back together required help to hold the assembly with the new part as part of it is held in place with an innovative spring mechanism.
