Problem
I ordered 2 coil element cartridges for my 1981 jenn aire cooktop. They arrived in a timely manner and were packaged very well. One cartridge plugged in perfectly and fit the cooktop space perfectly. The other cartridge plugged in well, but it does not fit flush to the cooktop like the other one. I don't know if it is warped or not. Both cartridges work very well, I just do not know what keeps the one cartridge from fitting flush with the cooktop.

Cartridges were old and stained and were no longer heating properly.

No tools needed.
Repair & Advice
The cartridges were simple to install. Just plugged them (two) into the electrical socket on the stove. I was very happy with the entire procedure from ordering the cartridges to receiving (next day!) and installing them.
