My Samsung range NX58H9500WS_AA lower burner (bake) would not ignite.

When the bake function was chosen and the desired temp was chosen, the temperature gauge would start at 175 and would not increase. That is the lowest temp that the oven can display. The igniter would not illuminate at all. After igniter was removed, it had a loose wire. I could fiddle with the wire and make it work, but it obviously needed replacing. I did a thorough Google search for the part for my oven. There were lots of sites that had igniters, some of them might have even worked in my oven with a little bit of finagling. However, Parts Dr. had the one specifically for my oven. It was considerably higher in price, but I knew that the unit was a direct replacement part and should work as the original, which it did.

At first tried sears parts. Still waiting on part. Been a month Parts dr had part to me within a week. Only use these guys

The ignitor would trip the electrical breaker.

Screwdriver.

Our oven would trip the electrical breaker every time it would start to ignite. After changing out the igniter on the bottom oven it solved the issue.
