Repair & Advice
From opening the box to finish, was amazingly easy. As mine was a new stove, I first removed the back panel and installed the power cord. Next, I removed the two screws at the rear of the stove, that hold the frame. Going to the front, I found that I had to loosen the front panel to get to the two screws that hold the frame in front. Since the burners are attached to the bottom of the frame, complete removal of the glass/frame and burners is necessary. The multi-pin rectangular connectors on the right and left were then disconnected. Then the sensor at the front has to be freed by straightening the black tabs on rear and the silver tabs on the front of the stove frame. Once this is accomplished, the top is ready for removal. I opened the box, took both large pieces of flat Styrofoam and placed them on my large kitchen table. Removing the new top from the box, I placed it bottom side up on one piece of the Styrofoam, the pick up the disconnected old top from the stove and placed it bottom side up on the second piece of Styrofoam. Assuring that the new and old tops were in the same position, I unscrewed the 8 screws from the 2 brackets holding the 5 burners to the old top, picked the burner assemblies up and transferred them to the same position on the new top, and replaced the 8 screws. Then in reverse order, I replaced the new top on the stove, Replaced the back panel, plugged the stove in, then tested the functions to assure all was operating correctly. Time is only for top replacement. Use an impact driver or you'll wear your wrist out and take a bit longer.
One NOTE! These black glass tops scratch/mar very easy and show every scratch and speck of dirt.

Slide out the range, remove 2 crew in the back about 1/2" from outside, open the door, remove 4 screw underneath the control panel, (you don't have to remove the knobs), swing and lift the panel up so it can jump out of a small hooks on each side to free the panel, unplug all cables and plugs and remove the panel. remove 2 screw at the hook to free the cooktop, lift the cooktop out, transfer everything to new cooktop, reinstall in reverse order.
