Error code SE (or 5E) was occurring quite often.

Phillips and flat head screwdrivers, small pliers.
Repair & Advice
Microwave started beeping in the middle of the night (of course) and displayed error code SE (or 5E). Looked it up on Google and it seemed to be a problem related to the keypad. In fact I noticed that some of the buttons no longer worked. Some people suggested cleaning the contacts on the ribbon cable, but that did nothing. Ordered the new keypad assembly, and replaced it in 5 minutes.

Take off top vent 2 screws then 1 screw to remove control panel the disconnect all wires. Remove metal backing plate. reverse these steps to reassemble. Punch in model number on the web to find a step by step instructions on you tube.

I cleaned the band contacts dozens of times, until nothing would work.. replacing the escutcheon, with the new band contact piece, did the trick
