Samsung electric range display had some missing pixels, and some pixels in the wrong place in the center section which is the clock and the area left of the clock.

Phillips screwdriver, and a small flat blade screwdriver.

Make sure you unplug the power cord, or turn off the electrical circuit breaker to kill the power before starting this repair!!! slide out the range, remove the screws from the rear top of the range panel covering the display and control board. The control board has phillips headed screws, remove the screws, the ribbon cable on the left side connects to the push buttons on the front of the range, so be careful & lift the black plastic bar and slide the control board ribbon cable out of the control board. The other connectors on the control board are squeeze type connectors that came out easily on my range. The control should be free at this point. If not inspect and see what is holding it, maybe you missed a screw. The Display is retained by black plastic clips at the top and bottom. I used a flat blade screwdriver and worked it between the display and the clips at the top to release the display from the mounting. Pull out and up to free the display from the lower clips, and reverse the process to install the new control unit.

The replacement of the display is pretty easy and straight forward. Just take the back panel off, remove the control PCB while disconnecting only connector to the display PCB, replace the display and reverse steps to complete.
