Error code on dishwasher stated that the control panel wasn't communicating with the display panel. I replaced the main (lower) control panel and the dishwasher works like new. It took me approx. 15 minutes to replace the panel with using only a phillips screwdriver

Problem
Samsung dw80m9550ug dishwasher would not turn on. It started with the control panel being non-responsive but after unplugging power for 5 minutes and plugging back in it would reset ad work as normal again. Eventually that fix stopped working as well. Of course it was just out of warranty. This control board perfectly solved the issue.

Repair & Advice
The control panel is in front behind the kickplate. There are YouTube videos for this type of repair. The replacement is pretty straightforward but I did this with the dishwasher still installed so access was awkward but with a small slooted screwdriver and small needle nose pliers taking the connectors off without breaking them was pretty easy. Putting the new one back on was even easier. I think there was a total of 6 screws. It took about 15 minutes.

Samsung Dishwasher failed to complete a cycle, no error codes were present, only time left in cycle.

I contacted Samsung multiple times. Finally I spoke with a rep who went above and beyond the “typical” diagnostics. He told me that other people had experienced the same problem as me. Everything else on the appliance worked…I could check the water intake and the drain through the one step drain/cancel setting. He thought it was a main circuit board issue.
Samsung had no techs available in our area so I decided to fix it myself. I purchased the part from part dr and installed it myself.
