Problem
I had a dishwasher with a broken circulation pump. Would not run a cycle at all. This part repaired the issue.
Tools
Phillips head screwdriver and vise grips
Repair & Advice
The repair was relatively easy. I have a few years of appliance repair experience and dishwashers are generally easy to work on (if you can pull them out of the hole). I had to remove a protective “belly pan” from the bottom of the dishwasher in order to access the motor, but once that was removed it was smooth sailing. I used my vise grips to remove the snap rings that hold the hoses in place, then simply removed the rubber mount holding the motor in place. It was a bit tricky fitting the motor through the relatively small hole for the belly pan, but nothing too crazy. New motor went in very easily, but note you must transfer the rubber mount from the old motor to the new one, unless you also order a new rubber mount. My only gripe with the whole ordeal was the new motor came with a lot of surface rust on the entire exterior. This does not affect the function, but I’m not thrilled that it was seemingly exposed to a lot of moisture. That’s the only reason this review is 4 stars instead of 5.

Repair & Advice
Most guidance from the web pointed to the drain pump. I removed this pump and tested it on a bench, it was good. After finding the service manual I was able to put the dishwasher in diagnostic mode and this pointed to the circulator pump. When I removed the old pump it had debris stuck in it. The new pump fixed the problem.
