Leak Sensor Base

Step-by-Step instructions on how to replace the Foam Leakage Sensor on a Samsung dishwasher. The leakage sensor is made up of a microswitch, a sensor holder or cover, and a styrofoam sensor. The styrofoam sensor sits in the base cover under the dishwasher. If the dishwasher leaks, water will flow into the leak sensor base and cause the foam sensor to float up into the micro switch, which will disable the dishwasher. If the foam sensor is broken or damaged, it will it will need to be replaced.
