Broken drain bracket

Screwdriver, wrench, and a pair of channel locks.

Couldn't have been easier. I didn't need the wiring kit. I just used the wires and removed them from the first wire hold down. Would have been nice to use the same pump I had that was fine. It is really just the bracket that needed to be updated. So now I have a complete wiring harness and good pump....with no need for them.

I ordered this part after I found out that replacing the pump bracket was not an option. I was a little worried after opening the item and saw all the wiring and connections. It went together pretty smooth. I started at the top of the washer and worked my way to the bottom. I would disconnect a few items and then connect a few of the new items that way I could follow along and not forget where something went. The instructions on the website (pictures) aren't very clear and there is no printout included in the box. That said I was able to get it all figured out and it works like normal. I say its kinda difficult because if you aren't real familiar with it then it could be challenging remembering where/how things go but if you take your time and are careful then it should be kinda easy.

Philips screwdriver, flat head screw driver (for prying), drill with Philips bit, pliers, socket set, work light

Pretty straight forward. Had to lean the dryer towards the back to get the harness unplugged from the motor on the bottom of the unit... Everything else can be reached from the back and underneath when leaned forward. Time is about 30 minutes if only replacing the pump... 1-2 hours with new wiring harness.
