Pulsator had lint & dirt build up between the aluminum cover and plastic backing.

10mm socket fitting and drive.

Just popped off the cover to expose the bolt and once that was unscrewed the pulsator assembly came right out. Replaced it with the new one and replaced the bolt and cover.

Pulsator/drum very gunky, was leaving residue on clothes

We took apart our washer because it was leaving gunky residue on our clothes. Cleaned the drum, the basin, and the pulsator. Even with thorough cleaning, underside of the pulsator (where the plastic was more translucent) looked still dirty. Since the two pieces of the pulsator did not separate well, we ordered a replacement part to try to start off keeping the washer as clean as possible this time. This fit perfectly and was easy to install. The whole process took several hours but the actual installation of the new part took about 30 minutes. Most difficult part was getting the old part out, it was not as easily removed as YouTube would lead you to believe! Had to use some flathead screwdrivers to help pry up at the edges as well as from the middle connection bolt.

My clothes started getting brownish grease looking stains all over them so we took this pulsator out and discovered all the mold and gunk between the plastic and metal and there was no way to separate them.

10mm ratchet wrench and flat head screwdriver

After discovering the mold and build up between the metal and plastic in the pulsator with no way to clean it I ordered this replacement. It arrived very fast and fit perfectly into the machine. Took me less than 5 minutes to put it in and I have been washing again with no trouble. I’m hoping this solves the issue of marks being left on my clothing from the build up in the pulsator and I have also stopped using fabric softener in hopes that it will help as well.
