Problem
Touch button selection not working.
Tools
Touch button selection would not work. Phillips head screwdriver and small common head screwdriver.
Repair & Advice
The other boards are mounted on top of the touch button board. Those have to be removed to gain access to the touch button board. First you HAVE to pop off the selection knob on the front of the electrical housing! I used the phillips head screwdriver and removed the screws from the back of the electrical housing and snapped off the back cover. I removed the 2 screws holding the housing in place and rotated it forward to lay on the top of the washer. Using the small common head screwdriver, I popped off the covers to the boards and unplugged the wires and ribbon cables. Again using the small common screwdriver, I released the clips holding the top boards to the housing (you have to look close to see where they are) and slid the top boards to the right to release the hook that holds the left end. Once that is removed you can access the touch board which is held to the front of the housing with a sticky tape. Gently use the common screwdriver to pry the board away from the housing/buttons. Remove the tape cover from the new board and gently ease in between the guideposts so it is lined up correctly. Then reversing the steps patiently put all items back into place. Make sure to line up the knob with the post correctly before snapping back into place.
