First I searched the internet for reasons a Samsung dryer won’t heat and found the heating element was an overwhelming response. So I went ahead and ordered it, followed YouTube video to tear dryer apart and replace. Didn’t fix it. So I go the multimeter out which I should have done first. Again, there are lots of videos online to help with the diagnosing steps. Checked power to the dryer, thermistor, thermostats, dryer motor, etc. The reason to check all those with the multimeter while you have the dryer torn apart is you may have more than one problem and those are the common problems. It seems the control board is uncommon, but nonetheless, it was my problem. Make sure you diagnose your parts with a multimeter to figure out exactly which part is faulty.

Very simple repair. Remove 4 screws. Unplug old part and plug up new part. Replace screws.

Replaced main board. Samsung has changed the housing. Must mount upside down now. Thanks for the advice Parts Dr.
