Problem
Pump running constantly
Tools
Screw drivers and socket set and wire cutters and channel lock pliers
Repair & Advice
First started with the poor placement of the drain pump on the base of the washer drum. Pump housing broke apart and wires kept breaking from terminal connector to pump. Replaced pump with new pump and found out the the pump constantly running shorted out the circuit on the main board that caused the pump to constantly run. Replaced main circuit board and now washing machine runs better than new. Total replacement time includes replacing and moving pump from drum base to base of washing machine frame along with changing of old harness to new harness with longer wire for new pump placement which equals approximatly 1 1/2 hours. Replacement of main circuit board approximatly 20 minutes

Tools
Screwdriver, pliers
Repair & Advice
Easy repair, just sticks that samsung's bad design cost replacing both the pump, and associated water damage, then the control board because of the failed original pump design

Problem
Samsung Washer showing 3E code
Tools
#2 Phillips
Repair & Advice
I got an error code of 3E on my Samsung washing machine. The code is for a motor or hall sensor fault. Looking at both the motor it seemed about impossible for that to fail, so I ordered the PCB instead. The PCB fixed my 3E code, I'm glad I did it myself, because first assumption would tell me that it was a motor fault covered under Samsung's "10 year warranty" wich would not have been covered seeing that it was a PCB failure. The part was sent out in a timely matter. Pretty easy fix as well.
