Problem
Samsung Dryer (Model # DV405ETPASU/AA) kept rotating even when the power is turned off | Had to change the mother board.
Tools
Screw driver.
Repair & Advice
As described in the problem statement, Samsung dryer kept rotating as soon the dryer door is closed even when the power is turned off. The dryer was not warming up nor drying either. We bought the mother board from parts.com and replaced it. We were able to get the instructions from a youtube video and it was easy to replace.
You can look up the part number by going to Samsungparts.com by giving your model number and order the part from partsdr.com
Instructions
1. Unplug the dryer from the wall socket and open the cover by removing the screws in the back of the dryer (at the top)
2. The cover will slide open
3. You will notice the rotating drum and the mother board to one side of the drum (Samsung Model # DV405ETPASU/AA)
4. Unscrew the mother board
5. Take a picture of the mother board before you start removing the wires
6. Unplug all the wires (you should be able to press and ply it out)
7. Replace the motherboard with the new one and plug back the wires as per the picture taken above
8. Screw in the mother board and the cover on top
9. You should be good to go.

Problem
Samsung dryer would tumble continuously
Tools
Screwdriver
Repair & Advice
My Samsung dryer would tumble continuously once the door was closed. Wouldn't do too much else. I figured out it was a stuck relay on the main control board by whacking them with a screwdriver and I could get it running again for a few weeks. Finally bought this replacement. Works as expected. Only one caveat. There is one relay connector that can be put on BACKWARDS. Luckily didn't damage anything, but it didn't do anything with it backwards. Scared me pretty good. They should put a note in the box highlighting the one connector that has the potential to be installed backwards (how stupid).
