Problem
No power at the control head
Tools
Philips Head Screwdriver, multi meter, adjustable wrench
Repair & Advice
I used the multi meter to confirm power at the outlet. Then I checked power at the unit. Then I checked continuity from the plug end to the unit to confirm that the plug itself was good. Everything checked out good. Then I checked continuity on the high temp fuse and the thermostat fuse. All were good. I then removed the main PCB board and inspected it and noticed a burnt spot on the board which also smelled like a fried circuit. Since the dryer was apart I took the time to vacuum out and clean the lint out of the dryer. I replaced the main PCB board and everything came back to life!
