Problem
My Samsung HE washer's door boot seal had been damaged and was leaking. I bought the replacement part on Parts Dr.
Tools
Screwdriver and pliers.
Repair & Advice
I am not the least bit mechanically inclined, so I used an online instructional video on YouTube.com to help. There is no way I could have figured out the replacement repair without. The new boot seal fit perfectly and all is back in perfect working order.

Problem
Leakage from drum seal.
Tools
Phillips screwdrivers, straight blade screwdrivers, 7mm wrench, needle-nose pliers.
Repair & Advice
A few years prior to this repair, the door gasket was damaged when the drum spider arm broke and the drum significantly wobbled. While obviously degraded, it didn't seem necessary to replace at the time. However, continued usage/handling caused further degradation over the years. It could be a simple item to replace were it not for all of the extensive disassembly necessary to access the gasket. Very good disassembly videos are available. The replacement was an exact item to original equipment and fit perfectly. Take the time to ensure the gasket is fully seated in the track all the way around the rim. Cannot beat Parts Dr prices or timeliness of delivery.
