Problem
The plastic tab that holds the spring on the ice door broke off. Door would hang open and ice will melt and refreeze.
Tools
The standard screwdriver for pushing in the tabs, & a Phillips screwdriver for the retaining screws.
Repair & Advice
First step is to remove the display panel on the front of the freezer door. You start by using a screwdriver to push in the tabs from the bottom and remove a single screw. Once that comes off, you just unplug the wires from the ice door assembly and remove a few screws. The hardest part is placing the ice door hinge tabs where they are supposed to go while simultaneously holding the spring in its proper position.

Problem
Plastic support holding the spring to keep ice chute door closed broke - needed only this part to fix...
Tools
Patience, phillips screwdriver, flat head screwdriver, and manual dexterity
Repair & Advice
There are multiple discussions on this repair, so do a google search and you'll find the answer quickly... Removing the cover is the most difficult part and you'll need a flat head screwdriver for that to release the plastic clips. Everything else is straight forward.

Problem
Ice route cover spring post broke. Cover did not close.
Tools
Phillips Screw driver, spackle knife had to pry cover out.
Repair & Advice
Looked at your video, but my fridge had a different control cover. Found another video (not yours). Had to pry control cover off with knife and some plastic prying tools. Once that was out replacement of the cover was easy.
