The shelf guard on our Samsung fridge wouldn't stay snapped in, the locking mechanism was broken away. The new part just snapped right in and took me less than 5 minutes...actually is took longer to unwrap from the "well packed box" than to install.
Advice: when taking heavy items like milk cartons out from theses shelf, don't drag than across the toping the guard, lift then up and away. Thats what broke ours..

Repair & Advice
Removal was simple because the clip that kept the part attached was broken. Re-installing the shelf guard was simply pushing the new guard in place.
