Problem
Door on my LG Sidekick pedestal washer broke at the latch when it fell, while I was getting ready to load the washer.
Tools
2 small flathead screwdrivers and needle nose plyers to get old clip pin out of old door henge.
Repair & Advice
I used one screwdriver to push side of clip in and other screwdriver to pry the clip to get it to come out do I could grab it with needle nose players and pull it out of the hinge. Once pin was out of one hinge the old door came out. I placed the new plastic pins partially in the hinge of the new door, making sure they were in the way the original pins were on the old door. Placed the door hinge between the holders on the washer then pushed the pins in with my fingers until they clicked. New door on and works great!

Original lid was a 1 piece assembly. Bad design. When weak hinges broke you had to replace entire lid. New lid has separate hinges. I would like to get some hinges to hang on to but cant find the part #'s

Our LG sidekick door handle broke. We bought a new door assembly through partsdr.com. The part was delivered when expected and was easy to install. Perfect fit.
