Repair & Advice
I ordered the ice maker assembly (one piece) and followed the video instructions to replace the broken unit, which were perfect for our model and part. The actual process was just as easy as shown in the video. Ice bucket was full the next morning. Wife happy again!

Problem
Temperature sensor wire worn through and broken ice tray.
Tools
Phillips screwdriver.
Repair & Advice
Our original icemaker that came with the refrigerator failed after about 7 years. For quite some time the temperature sensor wires have been showing wear. They were worn through almost all of the way and just hanging on by a couple of strands of wire. In the end, it ended up being the ice tray that broke on the right side of the tray. I followed Parts Dr's Youtube video that walked me through step by step on how to replace it. I started by first removing the ice bucket, then removing the three screws behind where the ice bucket sits. Once these screws are removed you can remove the ice maker assembly. From here you will need to remove the three screws on the ice maker and the ground wire screw. Remove the wire harness. The ice maker is now free and you can reinstall the new once in the reverse order.
