Ice Maker Assembly

Step-by-step instructions on how to replace the Ice Maker on an LG refrigerator. This video shows the correct process for removing an LG ice maker. We commonly see people uninstall the old ice maker incorrectly, and if the original ice maker is not removed properly as shown in this video the electrical plugs will not match up when you go to install the new ice maker. When the ice maker fails it can stop producing ice and you may see that the ice tray is cracked or the ice maker temperature sensor wires are broken or worn through. If any parts of the ice maker fail, the entire ice maker assembly must be replaced as none of the individual parts of the ice maker are sold separately.
