Problem
Ice maker for LG French door refrigerator was only dumping a couple trays a day. So ordered a new one from Parts Dr and received it in about 3 days. We installed it in about 15 minutes and it is working great! Thank you Parts Dr. !
Tools
A “short handle” Phillips screw driver will make it much easier! That’s about it.
Repair & Advice
Screw holding ground wire “on old ice maker” was very tight and took a lot of man power to get out. So use that screw to self tap the hole for ground wire on new ice maker to make install much easier. Otherwise, very straight forward.
