Problem
Loud screeching noise, no brake when the washer shuts off to slow the drum spinning
Tools
I used a 10" pipe wrench instead of the 1-1/2" socket for the big drum nut.
Repair & Advice
Cleaning the drum was to most time consuming part. I also found the magnets were chipped and causing the screeching or chirping sound. I cleaned the magnet chips out. I think the magnets were chipped because of the bearings.

Problem
Kept getting UE code. Washer was uneven on all loads. (Large, small and everything in between.) Also loud squealing noise even when turning empty. Took all day to do several loads. At least that’s what my wife said.
Tools
Wanted to use a bfh (hammer) but instead used sockets and ratchet. I think there was another one or two but can’t remember what they were.
Repair & Advice
Easy repair really. Just use YouTube for reference and you will be fine. Advice would be to wear cut resistant gloves. There are some sharp edges underneath the tub. One last thing would be to give everything a good cleaning while you have it apart.

Repair & Advice
Spent about 2x time cleaning the washer parts when I took it apart to replace the clutch & bearing assembly. Assembly was easy to replace, you should find a video that matches your machine model and prepare your tools first. Part work just fine and washer is quiet once again.
