Took the cover off the dish washer and removed two screws from the latch. Unplugged the 4 electrical wires and plugged them into the new latch. Attached the latch back on the door and I stalled the front cover.

Repair & Advice
My dishwasher had previously stopped working a year or two ago. That time, I called a repair person to diagnose and repair it. He quickly and easily replaced the door latch mechanism. I watched closely on how to do this repair since I might need to do it in the future.
Fast forward to about a month ago. Same problem: dishwasher won't start, and no lights were flashing. I ordered the door latch part and hoped it was the problem again.
I switched the kitchen breakers off, removed the 4-6 screws holding the front plate of the washer, and slid the cover off. I removed a couple more screws holding the door latch mechanism in place. I unplugged the latch's plugs from the dishwasher and replaced it with the new one. I screwed it in, replaced the cover, and screwed the rest of the screws in. After turning the breaker back on, I tested the dishwasher and it worked!
My theory is that I opened the dishwasher door latch with wet hands too many times, and that made the connection in there faulty. Guess who dries their hands every time now before opening the door!
