Buzzing sound occurred intermittently during drying cycle.

Repair & Advice
Replacing the gas valve was straightforward. More time was spent accessing the dryer and the cleaning of the ductwork for the dryer exhaust.

Problem
There was a small gas leak that was only noticed when the laundry room door was closed for 8 hours or more. When you opened the door you could smell some natural gas. If the door was left open you never could smell it. I got a gas sensor and found exactly where the leak was, just below the solenoids in a seam.
Tools
Just standard tools to open the dryer (flathead screw driver, socket set. I also needed pipe sealant when Ii connected it to the gas line in the back. I vacuumed out any lint.
Repair & Advice
I take it slow when I repair. It took about 3 hours. Be comfortable with disconnecting and reconnecting the the gas line. It was doable be gentle with the heating element, everything else is replaced with the new part. You have to take off both the back and front panels. This part replaces the entire gas piece. Just take off the heating element and reconnect it. Be careful not to touch the black heat element and dint drop it.

Problem
Gas dryer took a long time to dry.
Tools
Screw driver, wrenchs, pipe wrench, teflon tape.
Repair & Advice
Gas dryer took a long time to dry. Gas came on when starting cycle. Non-moisture sensing dryer's dial did not move on auto-dry (timer runs and dial moves when gas is firing). After some time in cycle, electric starter would come on, but no flame. Turns out gas solenoid was not opening. Sticking?
Replacement solenoid assembly was perfect fit. Needed to swap LP gas jet from old part since new part is for natural gas.
