Problem
Timer would stop moving in mid drying cycle. Dryer would continue to dry but would not move to shut down postion.
Tools
Socket wrench, flat screwdriver
Repair & Advice
Simple task. Pulled off timer knob. Removed 6 screws from the black cover plate on the top back of dryer with socket. Lifted off cover plate. Used same socket to remove two screws holding timer to dryer. Held new timer in same direction as old and moved wires from old to new one at a time. Reassembled in reverse order.

Problem
Dryer would operate, but timer would not advance, requiring manual shut-off.
Tools
1/4 inch and 5/16 inch nutdrivers, flat and phillips screwdrivers
Repair & Advice
Unplugged dryer, removed top rear panel, removed old timer, transferred wires one by one to new timer, installed new timer, replaced top rear panel (also, while dryer pulled out from wall took opportunity to remove lower back panel and vacuum out lint)
