Problem
Door switch on my dryer was inoperable
Tools
Socket wrench and screwdriver.
Repair & Advice
Called dryer repair guy. He wanted $285 to repair. Had to pay $65 for diagnosis. Ordered $15 part, and the hubby did the repair. He had to take the dryer apart to get to the switch, but after searching for my dryer on you tube (via model number), I found a couple of videos that showed how to disassemble it. Difficulty, he said, was reinstalling the belt.

Dryer stuck on sensor

1/4 nut driver
Repair & Advice
Taking it apart was fairly straight forward, after releasing the plastic tabs of the front console, that section lifts up sliding out of a vertical guide. That part of the removal and replacement were unique. The snap together of the was straightforward, although I did need a tiny flat head to remove existing connector. This is an easy process if you are logical about reversing your steps.
