LG range stopped running. No display and neither oven or burners would respond

Drill with Phillips head bit, voltage tester

I was running the self clean feature on the oven when about 20mins in I heard a pop and it shut down. When I went to open the door it would not open. I waited a while to see if it needed to cool down but door still locked. I took off back panel and found the locking mechanism and manually unlocked the door. I used a voltage tester to check the plug which was fine. Then checked fuse and found it had blown. I also checked coils to see if there might be any damage and found they were good. I determined the thermostat was not registering the proper temp thus allowing to exceed the fuse tolerance and blew the fuse. I ordered both parts and they were fairly easy to replace. Put the back panel on and plugged it back in and no problems since

5/16 nut driver and Phillips head screw driver and a voltage meter

After removing back cover of the stove it was difficult to recognize the actual fuse. We were watching a repair video of another replacement part and the guy pointed out what the fuse looked like. That was the biggest hurdle for us. Next take the volt meter and OHMED the fuse before removing it from the stove. We have the double oven and it was the bottom oven we were using the self cleaning cycle on. Take a Phillips screw driver and remove the two spade connectors. The only number on the fuse we used to order a new one was the bottom number, our's was 180. I assume that would be considered the size. We have a LG oven and from my research it is common the fuse blows while using the self cleaning feature because it gets too hot. I will not be doing the self clean again.
