Problem
E2 error code. Started gradually, then became every load. Would not drain.
Tools
Screw gun, slip joint pliers, ratchet, extension, 10mm deep well socket, straight slot screwdriver.
Repair & Advice
Piece of cake repair, just a little awkward. Drain pump is accessed from two locations. Remove the access panel (12"x12") from rear of washer secured with (6) phillips head, sheet metal screws. Disconnect drain hose at rear of machine and ensure all water is out of machine and it is unplugged prior to carefully tipping machine onto its face. Pump is located on the bottom of the tub toward the back, clearly visible. Disconnect a small pigtail hose from pump, then remove the (3) 10mm bolts which hold the pump in place. You will have to cut a few zip-ties and unwind some tape to get the pump's wiring out of the harness and unplugged. Now do all aforementioned steps in reverse with the new pump. TIP: I did not use the new seal which is provided with the pump which inserts in the bottom of the tub and the pump snout goes in to, as my machine is only a year old and the existing seal was pliable and appeared glued in. I have no leaks whatsoever. I did replace the rubber mounting washers provided with the pump.

Washer would not spin during spin cycle
Tools
Screwdriver
Repair & Advice
Our washer would not spin! Ordered the parts and replaced the drain pump and hose. Washer works like new if not better! I changed it myself instead of hiring someone who wanted to charge us more for the same parts and hundreds for labor! No thanks! I am a stay at home mom, and to me it was easy to do by myself! Delivery was very fast! Ordered Sunday, shipped Monday, and got package Tuesday. I will always order from here when I need parts for anything!
