Problem
Needed to replace outer door panel on washing machine.

Repair & Advice
Pretty easy fix. Pulled the old door and hinge off the washer. Disconnected the outer panel from the inner panel by removing all screws, including the screws attaching the door sensor attachment. Replaced the old outer door panel with the new one. Attached the hinge to the outer panel. Re-attached the inner panel to the outer panel using the original screws, including the door sensor attachment.

Problem
Chrome plastic door on my clothes washer is an exceptionally poor design (designed to fail). This is the second one I've replaced. The door weighs too much for the cheap materials they chose.
Tools
All it takes is a Phillips Screwdriver
Repair & Advice
Check the model number of the machine on the inner door to confirm you get the right part. Also, buy the inner door and the hinge & bushings as they all wear and contribute to making the chrome outer door (the expensive part) fail.
