Cleaning lint from blower motor, power was left connected by tech. The door switch was shorted against ground- caused the main PCB to be burned out. Replaced and reassembled. Tested and worked.

7 year old Electrolux dryer would turn on but not start any of the drying cycles.

After having a repairman tell me it would cost $600 to replace both boards because he couldn't tell which board was bad or to just buy a new dryer instead, I followed the troubleshooting instructions for the Electrolux dryer and the error code indicated the main control board was bad. I ordered it from Parts Dr for $150 and replaced the board myself in less than 30 minutes and saved $450! The key is taking a picture before unconnecting the old board so you know where everything needs to be connected back up with the new board. For now on I will do appliance troubleshooting and see if it's something I can repair myself before calling a repair person. Thank you Parts Dr!
